Prescription Assistance FAQ

Prescription Assistance is a limited fund and there are limits for each participant. In many cases the Prescription Assistance will pay for all of your prescriptions for a period of time. In some cases though, the Prescription Assistance will not be enough cover all of your prescriptions. Because everyone is different has different prescriptions we will need to work directly with you.

Any prescription drug can qualify for prescription assistance. This program provides money from Kalamazoo community partners to help pay for the prescriptions filled by Advanced Health Pharmacy for qualified low-income seniors living in Kalamazoo county.

In general, low income Seniors over 60 living in Kalamazoo County qualify for Prescription Assistance. Because the program may be modified at any time we do not list specific income numbers on line. If you feel you are “low income” please call or fill out the application form to get more specific information.
